Join us on the RTU Ķīpsala campus to take part in real lessons, meet our PhD-level faculty, and explore the environment where students study science inside a university. 🔬👩‍🏫

RTU ISST offers a secondary school education based on the Cambridge International AS & A Levels curriculum, designed to prepare students for world-class universities. 🌍 Our three-year programme emphasises STEAM subjects (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) and is conducted entirely in English — both in the classroom and in everyday school life.

Meet the teachers

Global Perspectives – Valters Didrihsons
Valters combines a background in law, business, and international education with experience in English language teaching and educational project management. He also brings experience from a US-based ed-tech start-up, adding a practical and globally minded perspective to the classroom.

Physics- Dr. Jevgenijs Proskurins
Dr. Proskurins heads the Department of Physics at RSU and has over 15 years of experience in medical physics and engineering. A former member of CERN’s Higgs Physics Analysis Group, he now works on advanced medical imaging and data-driven technologies, connecting research directly to student learning.
